We love Daddy yes we do... Blake and I recently bought a really nice BIG fuzzy blanket from
Kohl's and right when I pulled it out of the wash Blake got the brilliant idea of making a fort with it. He was playing "hunt" with Kendra (until we have a boy he is making sure our girls are aware of hunting) and decided that they needed a fort. So he got four of the kitchen chairs and set them up in the living room and draped the blanket over them. Kendra thought that was the coolest idea and
immediately called for me to join in. I was cleaning up the kitchen from dinner but Kendra couldn't wait :) Trisha couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about but one day it will make all the difference to her too!
Soooo....as the song goes...We love Daddy yes we do...we are a happy family...in a fort :)

Shawn made a fort the other day too!! Mia didn't quite get it-I think Shawn liked it more than Mia did. Ang, I think Trisha looks just like you!
Let the forts begin! Just wait until you walk in on a fort that the kids made in your family room with 10 blankets or so being held up by books from all over the house and various pieces of furniture!
O MY GOSH!!!!! That is the cutest thing!!!! I was laughing the whole time while I was reading! it looks VERY fort-like. :)
Boy I need to visit Laura's house--it sounds a LOT like mine! I love it that it was daddy's idea for the fun. Even as I type, I have only ONE kitchen bar stool (out of 8) as the rest are holding up a myriad of blankets for a massive fort in the game room. Who needs to sit when you can crouch under a blanket??
