Gingerbread House Making

Our family decided to build a gingerbread house for FHE. It was so fun. I bought the kit from the grocery store for really cheap. Wasn't sure how it would go but it was all fun anyway. Almost (emphisis on ALMOST) looked like the picture :). Kendra couldn't understand why we weren't eating the candy but then got the hang of it when she saw how cute and fun the little house looked when you put the candy on it. We just might have to do this every year! Maybe by the time we are all older it WILL look like the picture. So if any of you need and idea for FHE or a snowy day...this is great
fun!

An old fashioned Griswald (Walker) Christmas

Well we have begun the christmas season. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my parents house and then trecked to Vernal to cut down the Walker family Christmas tree. It was really fun this year. Kendra understood or enjoyed it alot more this year then last year! She was to small then. Trisha just slept in the truck the whole time :) that made it easy for us. We walked all over the forest with grandma and grandpa Walker and uncle Cody to find all of our trees. I'm a fake tree person cause that's what I had growing up, but Blake has always hunted for their tree. (One more thing to hunt :)) And we have done it since we got married. It's growing on me. It's alot more fun now that we have kids and as they are growing older it's fun to see the wonder in thier eyes. So I hope you all have your tree's up! I love this time of year!!!
Merry Chistmas!!!

Bath Time

We here at the walker home love bath time! And now that Trisha can sit up really good she can bath without her baby bath. So both girls have such a fun time together. I love that they are becoming such good friends!!!

Here are some pictures of us at a local park a few weeks ago before it got to cold and the leaves where still pretty vibrant. Kendra thought it was the neatest thing that Trisha could swing at the same time she did. Trisha just giggled the whole time. I think her tummy was being tickled as she swayed back and forth. I know Kendra's tummy tickled cause this is all she really wants to do at a park if there are swings. :)

Here are some cute pictures of my girls with their cousins in various places. I know Kendra would play with them all day if she could. Trisha only has a little more to grow so she can be a full-time playmate :)

Kendra's 2nd Birthday

Hello everyone! Here goes the first blog :) And it's dedicated to my wonderful 2 year old who just had her Birthday yesterday. It was fun. We had Auntie Tori over for the weekend and it made Kendra's weekend! She got to frost her own star cake's (or try) with her auntie and then she had a yummy birthday dinner of roast beef and potatoes and carrots. YUM! (Maybe that was more for mom then her :) Then we opened gifts. She got some cute new clothes and winter gear. We ate our star cakes after and Kendra was so funny she treated the frosting like lotion so yes she spread it on her arms and into her hands then it eventually moved into her hair. All in all it was a great day! Thanks Tori for coming!
